Aqara Provider
Our service supports Aqara provider devices. To start using them, you need to understand some key concepts.
Introduction
First, you need to understand that Aqara devices are divided into 3 types:
-
Devices that connect to WiFi and act as a hub for other devices without WiFi; these are called Gateway, for example Gateway M1S (EleaLight).
-
Devices that connect to WiFi but don't connect other devices to themselves, for example Aqara FP2 (EleaFalling).
-
Devices that connect to a Gateway and operate via Zigbee, for example buttons, relays, magnetic door sensors, etc. (EleaTouch, EleaReset, EleaCarry).
This is why you may see in the device description on the right which devices are linked to a gateway. We separate them into those already added to the EleaAlert system and those connected but not yet added:

This means you can add a Gateway and immediately see all the device IDs you need that are connected to it, copy them and add them.
Adding a Device
Before adding an Aqara device to our platform, you must first download the Aqara app to your device, register, and add the necessary devices for use.
Aqara Home app - App Store, Google Play
After registering in the app, you need to add devices by tapping here and selecting "Agregar accesorio":

Then follow the instructions.
After adding the device, tap on it and then tap the 3 dots at the top:

Then select the device again

And at the bottom you'll see the ID needed to add to the platform:

Now on the EleaAlert platform, add an Aqara provider device. If this is your first time, you'll need to specify the email you used for your Aqara app account:

After requesting the code and entering it from the email

You'll be taken to the device addition page. Enter the ID, name, and select the device type. Finally, click "Add Device".
